This Week in Paddy's Garage - July 7, 2023 - SU HS2 Carb Rebuild & Engine Check

Lots has been going on with Ms. Scarlet in Paddy’s Garage this past week!

Pulled intake & exhaust manifolds

Cleaned and rebuilt the SU HS2 carbs

Cleaned and polished the wiper motor

Pulled the heater blower and heater core box

Ran cylinder compression checks

Checked ignition system - power to plugs

Next steps are to clean & restore the heating system, pull the brake/clutch pedal box, pull the radiator.

With all of that done, I can start working on the right side of the engine bay - That’s where all of the electrical and hydraulic lines are
